Background:
Dr. Sheperd is a board certified critical care pharmacist with extensive critical care experience. After
her Pharmacy Practice PGY1 and Critical Care PGY2 residencies, she served as a critical care
pharmacist and PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Director at Baylor University Medical Center
and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Sheperd is a published researcher and award-winning
preceptor who is passionate about patient care. She has participated in several research projects,
presentations, and publications and won numerous institutional awards including SIX in 2020
following the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic recognizing her efforts and commitment to
patient care. Additionally, she has been recognized as preceptor of the year 4 times and recently
served as an active member of the Formulary Team and Critical Care Operations Committee at Texas
Health Presbyterian Hospital. With a deep understanding of vaccines and the ever-evolving
healthcare landscape, Lyndsay, as your scientific expert, also known as Medical Science Liaison
(MSL), partners with healthcare providers to ensure cutting-edge science translates into impactful
patient care.
