Background:

• Kristen earned her BS in Pharmacy from University of Sciences in Philadelphia (Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science). After graduation, Kristen worked as a staff pharmacist at Virginia Commonwealth University Health Medical Center (Downtown Richmond, VA) while also completing her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Virginia Commonwealth University (Medical College of Virginia) College of Pharmacy. Following completion of her PharmD degree, Kristen worked 21 years for UPMC Central PA Health System in Harrisburg, PA in various pharmacy leadership roles, including Clinical Pharmacy Director. It was during her time in health system pharmacy that Kristen gained experience and developed a passion for vaccines and immunization programs. During her tenure, she was responsible for standardizing adult and pediatric vaccination schedules for the health system hospitals as well as for the large network of primary and specialty care clinics. As a prior key decision maker for a large health system, Kristen brings much experience and knowledge of how formulary decisions are made and implemented in large, integrated networks, as well as the healthcare landscape and vaccine policy. She leverages this experience in her role of Medical Value and Outcomes Director, supporting Sanofi vaccines and immunizations within National organizations, including large integrated health systems, retail pharmacy chains and large buying groups. As your scientific expert, Kristen partners with healthcare providers and key decision makers to ensure cutting-edge science translates into impactful patient and population care.
